Maria O’Connor, PT, MS

Maria O’Connor, PT graduated from CUNY Hunter College with a BA in Special Honors and Psychology in 2003 (Cum Laude). She later earned her Masters of Physical Therapy at Hunter in 2007. During her graduate studies, Maria worked in various clinical settings including hospitals, outpatient orthopedic and schools, and has experience in orthopedic, sports, work injuries and a wide range of pediatric cases. Maria also ran Project Happy facilitating a therapeutic program for physically disabled children/adolescents. Following graduation, Maria focused on pediatrics at different Early Intervention Centers, School settings and private home care providing center-based and home-based care. Maria has certifications from the Maitland Clinic manual skill, NDT facilitation and Power Pilates. She continues to take continuing education courses to improve her skills. Maria and her husband moved to Larchmont in 2011. Maria is actively involved in the community, coaching travel soccer and raising their three young children.
